After the world learned the bad news that it has to wait an additional week of the release of his sophomore offering Man On The Moon II: The Legend Of Mr. Rager KiD CuDi gives us a look into his return to the BAPE Store in NYC for an intimate performance for his fans. The performance features his next single , REVOFEV, and brought back personal memories as CuDi was an employee at that very same BAPE spot not so long ago. Enjoy!
So, this past weekend we made it out to Audiotistic to check out some of the performers and to get our dance on! I was extremely excited though to see Kid Cudi & A-Trak because I’ve never seen them live and I must say they exceeded my expectations! I sang my lungs out all through out the performances and was also really close to both Cudi & A-Trak when they were on. Also, much to my delight I went to check out DJ Craze perform and he absolutely killed it! Bassnectar who was on before Cudi though was one of the best performances aside from Cudi and Trizzy! I looked for a few photos and videos of the night because I didn’t take my camera in, although I found myself recording some with my 3GS, but nevertheless heres a taste of how the night went:

Here go two audible teasers of KiD CuDi’s forthcoming Man On The Moon II-album. The 30-seconds snippets for the tracks entitled “Mr. Rager” and “Mojo” provide a short but revealing glimpse at this highly anticipated project. The former was produced by Kanye West whereas there was no information available on the latter. Man On The Moon II: The Legend Of Mr. Rager drops on G.O.O.D. Music Day, September 14th.

The song was leaked a few weeks on from a radio rip, but now the official version has become available. Erase Me is one of the first looks at Cudi’s upcoming album, Man On The Moon II: The Legend Of Mr. Rager. Alongside Kid Cudi, his labelmates Consequence and Kanye West will also be sharing the same release date of September 14th, stay tuned.

Erase Me
Looks like a G.O.O.D. week is unfolding. First, G.O.O.D. Music announced that Kanye West, KiD CuDI and Big Sean will release their respective albums on the same day – September 14th – now Cleveland’s 96.5 Kiss FM premiered a new Cudder-track featuring Yeezy, entitled “Erase Me”. No official word if this will appear on CuDi’s forthcoming Man On The Moon II: The Legend Of Mr. Rager but the anticipation keeps growing. Stay tuned. In the meantime, check the radio rip below.

One of the only reasons why I am thankful for MTV: Unplugged. The Unplugged series has turned out many timeless performances from many great performers from Bob Dylan to Jay-Z, to Nirvana. Lauryn Hill’s set is no exception to this. This particular performance is a favorite of mine, although I have yet to see the whole thing. Go get yourself a copy!
The Mystery of Iniquity
This particular song may seem familiar to you; you might be thinking “I’ve heard that somewhere” and you probably have…unless of course you have no idea who Kanye West is (see where this is going?). If you’re thinking what I was when I heard this, then you’re thinking that that chorus was used for All Falls Down and you would be correct! Unfortunately, for one reason or another, Lauryn Hill had nothing to do with the making of All Falls Down and Syleena Johnson had to fill in which wasn’t bad, but it also wasn’t Lauryn. I guess we all have our reasons.
This is how it might have sounded like if Mr. West had his way:
